From 1994 to 2014, Florida experienced a decrease in the number of reported Violent offenses, down 42.3 percent from 157,835 reported offenses in 1994 to 91,065 in 2014. The overall Violent crime rate has had a significant decrease of 59.0 percent from 1,137.2 offenses per 100,000 population in 1994 to 466.8 in 2014. Florida’s population increased 40.6 percent during the period.
According to this report the violent crime rate is continuously decreased. But in 2004 to 2007 the crime rate is increased, but after it is continuously decreased.
